Curriculum Intent

Religion, Philosophy and Ethics enables our students to understand the world around them.

It provides an opportunity to explore different beliefs and to gain a better understanding of the diversity of the human experience.

It also helps our students to develop critical thinking skills, as they learn to analyse and evaluate different religious beliefs and practices.

Through Religion, Philosophy and ethics our students develop respect and empathy for others whilst also learning more about themselves and their place in our diverse and ever changing world.
